Mr. Hari Krishan has served the prestigious Indian Revenue Service for 36 Years and has worked on significant assignments such as Income-Tax and Corporate-Tax Assessments, Income-Tax, Corporate-Tax, and International-Taxation Litigation. He has represented the Indian Revenue Service in litigation before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal for three years and has also served as member of the Dispute Resolution Panel of the Indian Revenue Service for three and a half years.
He has worked on various committees constituted by the Central Board of Direct Taxes like Committee for giving recommendations on Depreciation Allowance under the Minimum Alternative Tax (MAT) and the Committee for recommending the measures for broadening the tax base in India in collaboration with the Canadian Revenue Agency.
Mr. Hari Krishan, who retired as Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax, is the Head of Tax Department at Ricky Chopra International Counsels and advises on both direct and indirect tax related matters. Mr. Krishan using his developed and prolonged skills advises several national and international clients.
